Das Buch der Linksparteipolitikerin ist eine facetten- und analysereiche Dokumentation der Aktivitäten der extremen Rechten in Sachsen. Hervorgetan hat sich belang lediglich der Bundestagsabgeordnete Jan Wenzel Schmidt, der gelegentlich linke Sachverhalte thematisiert. Dies geschieht hier und da bereits heute, aber es sind meist Strukturen außerhalb der AfD, die sich den linkslinken Strukturen widmen (beispielsweise das Compact-Spezial über die Antifa). Die Anfragen hatten natürlich alle einen gewissen linkslinken Drall und suggerierten mitunter, der Staat gehe nicht ausreichend gegen tatsächlichen oder vermeintlichen Rechtsextremismus vor. „Die AfD predigt Hass und irgendwann wollen einige eben auch Taten sehen.“ Die Linkenpolitikerin fordert, nun schnellstens ein AfD-Verbot in die Wege zu leiten.

Die Linkenpolitikerin sitzt am Donnerstag in ihrem kleinen Parteibüro in Grimma, umzingelt von proppevollen Bücherregalen. Juni 2024 entfiel auf das überparteiliches Bündnis „GRIMMA zeigt Kante – Für Demokratie vor Ort“ ein Sitz im Stadtrat Grimma. Besser wäre es gewesen, vor der Einführung der Bodycams die immer noch anhängige gerichtliche Klärung der polizeigesetzlichen Grundlage abzuwarten.“ Sachsens Polizei führt die Bodycam als reguläres Einsatzmittel ein – darüber informieren Innenminister Roland Wöller und Landespolizeipräsident Horst Kretzschmar heute in Dresden. Eigentlich stellen sich Roland Wöller und die CDU selbst ein Armutszeugnis aus – schließlich sind sie für die verfehlte Personalpolitik bei der Polizei verantwortlich. Laut einem Referentenentwurf soll die „Verordnung über die Wahrnehmung polizeilicher Vollzugsaufgaben durch gemeindliche Vollzugsbedienstete“ zur einer Gemeindliche-Vollzugsbediensteten-Verordnung erweitert werden.

Die Ex-Landtagsabgeordnete Kerstin Köditz (57, Linke) muss in Grimma seit Monaten einen ungewöhnlichen Kampf ausfechten. In einer Sammelrezension im Jahrbuch Extremismus & Demokratie befand Jürgen R. Winkler dagegen, dass Köditz zwar die „sächsischen Zustände“ gut schildere, aber Gründe und Lösungsansätze für den Rechtsextremismus vernachlässige. Von April 2012 bis 2014 war sie eines von 19 Mitgliedern des ersten sächsischen NSU-Untersuchungsausschusses Neonazistische Terrornetzwerke in Sachsen und gehört auch dem zweiten NSU-Ausschuss (seit 2015) an.
Für Köditz ist deswegen entscheidend, gut vorbereitet zu sein, falls »Grimma zeigt Kante« es ins Rathaus schaffen sollte. Um die Grimmaer Stadtpolitik zu verstehen, muss man über 20 Jahre zurückgehen. Auch, weil es die potenziellen Bedrohungen so schwer machen, Kandidierende für die Kommunalwahlen zu finden, kam es zum parteiübergreifenden Zusammenschluss. Das ist in anderen Landesverbänden nicht so.« Anstatt Rechtsextreme bürgerlich zu machen, wünscht er sich von der sächsischen FDP klare Haltung, etwa bei der Unterstützung von Demokratie-Demos. »Das sind nur die aus den letzten zwei Jahren«, erzählt die Landtagsabgeordnete.

Auch dass in Staupitz (Nordsachsen) nun keine Rechtsrock-Konzerte mehr stattfinden, habe einiges Kerstin Köditz damit zu tun, dass die Behörden von ihr immer wieder darauf gestoßen worden seien.
